Flawless Execution depends on Flawless Communication with everyone on the team. More often than not, poor communication derails execution, and no one seems to be able to improve it. Everyone seems to understand this intuitively — but in most companies no one seems to be able to fix it.

The Flawless COMM Workshop is designed to help teams dramatically improve team communication — immediately. We help you do this by tackling the tough issues head on. Every team has different communication problems. So rather than prescribing what WE think you need, your Afterburner Wingman is going to facilitate a nameless, rankless Debrief.
Consider all of the internal "spam" you get everyday. Well-meaning people who copy you on a hundred messages a week you don't even care about. How much time does this cost you? Get Your Team Into “Violent Agreement” on How It Communicates.
Once your team Debriefs the issues and converts them into valuable Lessons Learned, it's time to plan the future. At this stage of your workshop, your Afterburner Wingman will take you through the Six Steps to Mission Planning to develop a Communication Plan that really works.
Set the Standard (Literally).
When you have completed your workshop, our Afterburner staff will take all of the information collected in the workshop and convert it into a Communication Standards Guide. This guide will be copied to your team electronically and in the form of a bound document. Your team will reference this document during subsequent Debriefs when people on the team violate what was agreed to in your workshop.
Continue the Transformation.
When the workshop is over, your team will Debrief your new communication standards at 30, 60, and 90 days from your workshop. Bad habits die hard. If you truly want to create a Flawless Communication environment, you will need to Debrief back to your standards for at least 90 days until the new behaviors take hold.
At the beginning of each conference call, your Afterburner Wingman will reinforce an aspect of Flawless Execution. This will be followed by a Debrief led by your team leader referencing the plan you created.
Few things have as much of an impact as a well-executed communication plan. Your execution will improve immediately. And when other teams and divisions see the transformation, they will want to adopt YOUR standards. Before you know it, your transformation will spread virally. Your team will achieve Flawless Communication AND Flawless Execution as a result.

| 10:00 | Debrief: Analysis | Your team will do a comprehensive analysis of your communication and identify the recurring problems that are the highest value targets to fix. Using the STEALTH Debrief Model, you will identify causes and root causes of these issues. |

| 11:00 | Debrief: Lessons Learned | Armed with the detailed analysis of your team's communication patterns, you will identify the Lessons Learned that will become the basis for your communication plan going forward. |

| 12:15 PM | Creating the COMM Plan | Now its time to create a COMM Plan using the Six Steps to Mission Planning. Using this powerful tool, your team will create a comprehensive communication standards guide that will be the foundation for the improvements you want to make in your team. |

| 3:30 | Give Briefing | You will brief the new communication standards to your team and set the tone for periodic COMM Debriefs that ensure the changes you want to make take root in your culture. |
