I am writing to thank you and Afterburner for the excellent work you have undertaken with the firm this Autumn, comprising the High Performing Teams workshop, the Organizational Excellence workshop and the Afterburner day.

Your involvement with Capsticks came at a time when we needed a catalyst to kick start the development of a more strategic view of our business, and to energise the partners and staff in support of the developing strategy. I am delighted to say that with your help we have achieved both of these objectives.

The quality of facilitation and presentation by you and your colleagues has been of a consistently very high standard, and the analogies that you draw from your military experience lend credibility to the proceedings. The sessions were well-paced and lively, and we always felt that we were heading in the right direction.

I would particularly highlight the success of the Afterburner day. This was a weekend event aimed at all of our staff, and I know that a number of those attending did so with some trepidation or cynicism. However, by the end of the day they were all “on the team”, and the event created a buzz around the firm that lasted long after programme was over. The de-briefing techniques that we were introduced to have been adopted in various processes within the firm and are enhancing our practice.

I have very much enjoyed working with you and your colleagues in Afterburner and look forward to continuing our successful relationship in the future.
